Ngital gave Manage Tutor a new brand, a full guardian and tutor marketplace, and the SEO and Facebook Ads to grow it: 1,500% more tutors, 2,500% more bookings through the website and 300% revenue growth.

01 · Objective

Objective & Challenges

Manage Tutor, founded in 2019 by Mir Showkat, helps families in Bangladesh find home tutors they can trust. Finding a tutor still runs largely on word of mouth, Facebook groups and phone calls. Parents worry about who is coming into their home, and tutors, most of them university students, struggle to find genuine tuitions without paying middlemen.

The business had built a loyal base, but matching was manual. Every tuition request, application and hire was handled by phone or message, trust was hard to prove, and the brand did not stand out in a crowded market of tutor groups and agencies.

The goal was to turn Manage Tutor into a self-serve, two-sided marketplace that could grow guardians and tutors at the same time, with trust built into every step.

02 · Strategy

Our Strategy

We designed a new brand identity built around a navy wordmark and a distinctive blue dot that marks the "o" in tutor. It works as an app icon, a profile badge and a visual signature, with a blue and navy palette, Plus Jakarta Sans and Figtree, and Hind Siliguri for Bangla.

We built the platform as a custom WordPress theme with four connected parts: a public website with a tutor directory and tuition job board, a guardian dashboard to post, compare and hire, a tutor dashboard with plans, applications and a paid Trusted badge, and an admin panel for job review, verification, payments and support.

Trust is designed in. Tutors verify their identity with their NID, birth certificate or passport and their institution ID, every tuition post is reviewed before it goes live, guardians are phone-verified, and only guardians who hired a tutor can leave a rating.

SEO structured the site around how people search, by subject, class and area, while Facebook Ads grew both sides at once: guardian campaigns by area, and tutor campaigns for university students looking for tuition jobs.

How we did it

Ngital took on the project as one integrated team covering brand, product and marketing. Because the same people designed the identity, built the platform and ran the campaigns, every ad, landing page and dashboard tells the same story: verified tutors, real families, simple hiring.

1. Brand identity and guidelines

We designed a new identity that feels trustworthy, approachable and easy to recognise across digital platforms and everyday business materials. It is built around a simple wordmark in navy with a distinctive blue dot that marks the “o” in tutor, a small detail that works as an app icon, a profile badge and a visual signature across the platform.

The blue and navy palette signals reliability, while Plus Jakarta Sans and Figtree keep the interface clean and modern, with Hind Siliguri for Bangla text. The brand guidelines cover the logo, colour, typography, iconography and applications from social media graphics to business materials, so every touchpoint stays consistent. See the brand identity and guidelines on Behance.

2. A full marketplace platform

We designed and built Manage Tutor as a custom WordPress theme, turning a manual matching service into a self-serve, two-sided marketplace. It has four connected parts:

  • Public website: a landing page with job and tutor search, a tutor directory with profiles, a tuition job board, an About Us page and a parent and tutor guide blog.
  • Guardian dashboard: guardians post a tuition for free in about three minutes, compare applicants side by side by university, rating and completed tuitions, and hire.
  • Tutor dashboard: tutors manage their plans and applications and can earn a paid Trusted badge shown on their profile photo, which creates a new revenue stream for the business.
  • Admin panel: the team reviews jobs, sees applications by job, verifies tutors, tracks payments, handles support and manages team roles.

Trust is designed into every step. Tutors verify their identity with their NID, birth certificate or passport plus their institution ID before they can apply. Every tuition post is reviewed by the team before it goes live, guardians are phone-verified, and only guardians who actually hired a tutor can leave a rating. Every screen is mobile-first, because that is how most guardians and tutors in Bangladesh use the web. See the platform design on Dribbble.

3. SEO

People search for tutors in a very specific way: by subject, class and area, such as “HSC physics tutor in Dhanmondi”. We structured the site around those searches, with clean URLs for jobs, tutors and areas, optimised meta titles and descriptions, fast mobile pages and a guide blog that answers the questions parents and tutors ask before they decide. This gives Manage Tutor a steady flow of free, high-intent visitors on both sides of the marketplace.

4. Facebook Ads

Facebook is where Bangladeshi parents and university students already spend their time, so we used it to grow both sides of the marketplace at once. Guardian campaigns target parents by area and focus on the free tuition post and verified tutors. Tutor campaigns reach university students looking for tuition jobs near them. Every campaign sends people to a matching page on the new website, so the promise in the ad is the first thing they see when they arrive.

What made it work

  • Trust as the product. ID checks, approved posts, verified guardians and real ratings were built into the platform and the brand, not added as marketing claims.
  • Both sides grown together. SEO and Facebook Ads targeted guardians and tutors in parallel, so new demand always had supply to meet it.
  • One team from logo to launch. Brand, platform and campaigns were designed together, so every touchpoint felt like the same company.
03 · Results

Results

Manage Tutor now runs as a real platform rather than a manual service. Tutors on the platform grew by 1,500%, bookings through the website grew by 2,500%, and revenue grew by 300%, helped by higher booking volume and the paid Trusted badge for tutors. The admin team now spends its time on verification and support instead of phone matching, and the brand gives families the confidence to invite a tutor into their home.
